The answer to this question is-
The point is in relation to a mad tea party notes from alice in wonderland in which dormouse did not object to use as the cushion because he was fast asleep. The writer it is Lewis Carroll. Alice notices that the Dormouse is being used as a cushion by the March Hare and the Hatter. She thinks to herself, “Very uncomfortable for the Dormouse, only, as it’s asleep, I suppose it doesn’t mind.”

The Dormouse was a character in 'A Mad Tea-Party' in the story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. A table was laid out under a tree in front of the house. The March Hare and the Mad Hatter were having tea. The Dormouse was sitting in between them.
The Dormouse was always falling asleep. The Hare and the Hatter used him as a cushion while he slept. So maybe he was not aware that they were using him as a cushion and therefore did not object to being used as a cushion.
