Why did the earliest people travel from place to place? In what ways are they similar to/ different from, the reasons for which we travel today?

The earliest people were gatherers and hunters, they were nomads. Nomads do not have a permanent place to stay, they move and stay in small houses they can easily take with them. The hunters and gatherers traveled from place to place, because animals don’t stay at one place for a long time. They needed food, so they followed the animals.

It is different from how we travel now, we now mostly travel for recreation. To see a family member, go on a holiday et cetera.

The earliest people traveled from place to place in search for food, relatives, needs etc. they also followed the migration cycle of animals.

These days we travel for pleasure or work not very often for needs as they are avalible everywhere now
