The East India Company concentrated on export of Indian manufactured goods because in India the silk and cotton was of very fine quality and no other country was able to rear this type of cotton and silk. So, the East India Company came to India and buyed the silk and cotton at low prices and sold it in other foreign countries as there was a huge demand of silk and cotton in foreign countries.
