• Odysseus and his few men after sailing for weeks landed on strange land.
• On landing his warriors went ashore to have a look around.
• After strolling for few minutes they came across the mouth of a huge cave.
• Odysseus`s men entered the cave and only to find out that it was occupied by a gigantic being.
• Inside the cave they found flocks of sheep.
• They slaughtered the sheep as they were very hungry.
• They were unaware of the fact that this was the lair of Polyphemus the Cyclops.

• When they asked Polyphemus about the entire he said that Nobody had blinded him.
• To this the Cyclopes laughed and even called him an idiot.
• They said they are unable to help him out in this matter as "Nobody" had hurt him.
