"There were many causes for the failure of the first war of Independence in India.
People did not have good leaders to give commands. Therefore people organized the war according to their wishes.
Also, many parts of the country did not involve in the struggle. It made a robust backward pull in the war.
As people did not have good weapons, they failed in fighting.
