peasants and zamindars resented British rule because British were applying more taxes on land revenue and they have rigid collection of taxes.
I Dian depots were resented because British took them at sea frontiers which was against of Indians and Indian depots were not getting equal salary as of British sepoys. British sepoys were having more rights as compared to Indians one
