Answer:

It tells me she was a caring individual, she loved all creatures and wanted to make sure they were feed even if they where homeless. Your grandmother had a big heart and she was touched by the animals she came across. Once you bond with an animal, it’s like no other, they will love you when you are sweaty and nasty or dressed to the nines, they will always wag that tail even if you look at them a thousand times a day. The bad part is some people just don’t care about them, she knew this. You can walk past a dog everyday and never feed it and kick it at the same time, but all you will get back is a tail wag, they still love you, even if you don’t feed them and you are mean to them, it’s so sad, they just love with open arms, you ARE there life. You are all they have. It’s much easier to be kind than be hateful, animals don’t have all this hate built up inside them, only people do and an occasional dog that has beaten or treated horribly. Animals are here to teach us, I believe, how to really love and to have compassion for every being. Your grandmother was a very smart lady who wasn’t afraid to show her love.
