the grandmother never went to the school because she was married earlier and in that time study wasn't important to the girls and she always depends on others

The Grandma never went to school because literacy rather education for women those days where considered important or useless as there was a notion in the society that they are only to get married, have and look after the kids , do house hold cores and maintain or take care of the house and educating them was thought to be a waste of resource as well as money
