Why did the Indian exports decrease from 3 % to 33% in 1850 to 1851​? (5m questions )

1 . Cotton industries developed in england and they did not want textiles to be imported from other countries, like India .

2 . Import duties were imposed to Indian textiles goods. As a result , imported goods become costly and their demand decreased.

3 . Indian textiles no longer had a market and  their export declined from 3 % to 33% in 1880s.

4 . The Manchester Textile Company in England flourished because of this .

5 . Soon textiles manufactured by them were sold in India through the East India Company.
