why did the industrial countries start fighting amongest themselves for the control of the areas where industrial revolution had not taken place ?​

the industrial revolution began in Britain and they slowly spread across the world over the span of a few countries.

the first regions of the world to be industrialised were western Europe,  followed by Eastern Europe and Asia

in addition some countries never fully industrialised at all, such as numerous countries in Africa and Asia while others, such as Russia, are only partially industrialised
