The king was astonished to see Gulliver. He thought that Gulliver was a strange toy, trained to speak and walk. He called the scholars to clear his doubts on Gulliver. The scholars examined him and concluded that Gulliver is strange creature who could not be produced using regular laws of nature. Gulliver tried to tell the king about his country and its people. At last the king finally decided to believe Gulliver.

Hope it helped :)
