Gulliver was like a gigantic beast for the Lilliputians who have never seen such a huge thing because of their small size. They first tried to capture him bu later he was provided with liberty but by agreeing to an agreement. He was regarded as a monster because of his immense size. But he helped the people in many ways. The king too begins to like him. The queen also likes him but for a temporary time. She was enraged by the means by which Gulliver tried to save her from the fire. He had other enemies too. The most common were Flimnap (Lord High Treasurer) and Skyresh Bolgolam. He is then made to fight the Blefuscians but he refuses when he is said to make them prisoners which disappoint the emperor a bit. He is later decided to be killed. But there were some well-wishers of Gulliver who inform him about this conspiracy against him. It urges him to leave Lilliput for his safety.
