the makers of constitution make provision for the Reserve constituencies for the weaker section because the weaker sections ie scheduled castes and scheduled tribes are socially excluded and vulnerable to become poorer-this would increase illiteracy and poverty which will effect the overall GDP of the country. the makers of the constitution wanted equality and wanted to eliminate poverty. this is why they made reserved constituencies according to which seats are reserved in the parliament for the weaker section ie scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. (as in 2012, 84 seats were reserved in Lok Sabha and 47 in Rajya Sabha).
