1. Decline of the Mughal empire itself was triggered , escalated and finally executed due to Maratha Empire. : Read last 30 years of Aurangjeb and his Maratha persuit in Deccan. His decades running expedition caused near collapse of his treasury and power. IF Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had lived a normal lifespan, and had not died untimely at the age of 50, the unfolded history would have been different.
2. Aurangjeb did catch and executed Sambhaji Raje at tender age of 31, son of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
3. Shrimant Bajirao Peshve, the unbeatable Maratha Prime Minister with absolute power over most parts of India died at the age of 39 years
4. If the smaller kings had supported Bhaurao Peshve during Panipat war, and had he conquered Abdali victorious, instead of Marathas losing Bhausaheb at the age of 30
5. If Viswasrao was not sent to Panipat and Maratha Kingdom had not lost that jewel at the tender age of 19, he could have succeeded Nanasaheb, who himself died early at the age of 41
6. Shrimant Madhavrao Peshve, an iconic Peshwa at his age of 16, and who nearly brought back the entire power back to Marathas in short span of ten years, died at the age of 27.

So the entire linage of Maratha Empire , full of illustrious, dynamic, exceedingly visionary, ethical personalities- with not a single deviation: not even one amongst them was bestowed with normal life spam…. All died due to ailments except (Viswasrao Peshwa and Bhau at Panipat) two of them .

Even if one of them had normal 60 years of life, Maratha empire would have managed to consolidate India from Afganisthan to North East, and the history of last two hundred years with British or Portuguese would have not even commenced.

It is not to do with Maratha Empire alone, the entire India lost two centuries of future due to untimely demise of each and every Maratha Leader.
