Why did the masaai community lose their grazing grounds

because the British colonised Africa and restricted the herders, like the masaai, from entering high quality pastoral grounds. As the grounds where they can freely graze their animals were very less, they started running out of grazing grounds and eventually completely lost their grazing grounds.
