The Mughal Empire was established in the year 1526 and governed by the king Babur, the Great Mughal.


The currency used during the Mughal empire is rupee. Mughals ruled the empire as absolute monarchy having Agra, Fatehpur and Lahore as capitals.


The Mughal empire is third biggest empire in India. The important Mughal emperors are Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahagir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb.


The Mughals permit the earlier rulers in their empire because they need assistance from the earlier ruler to revenge the enemies during wars and battles
