Ulama also wanted to ensure that within the country he could try and unify all Muslim people of the country together. Just like any other religious leaders, he focused on gathering more number of Indian Muslim population to unite together as one entity.
He thus made use of Social as well as political methods to unite the Muslim people of the country. The Ulama as was linked to different types of Indian communities like landlords, political leaders, religious leaders and traders, helped spread the word of Muslim religion within the country.
