Ever since the beginning India had been a country followed multiple religious practices. Muslims had equal rights as compared to Hindus in the country. With the arrival of Muslim religious leaders in the country, the future of Islam had also brightened for Muslim people.

Ulama also wanted to ensure that within the country he could try and unify all Muslim people of the country together. Just like any other religious leaders, he focused on gathering more number of Indian Muslim population to unite together as one entity.

He thus made use of Social as well as political methods to unite the Muslim people of the country. The Ulama as was linked to different types of Indian communities like landlords, political leaders, religious leaders and traders, helped spread the word of Muslim religion within the country.

Everyone is aware of the historical facts of the Subcontinent which before partition was known as India and after partition it got divided into two countries, India and Pakistan.

The subcontinent consisted of many people living together under the British rulers and subsequently, those people came from different backgrounds( religions and beliefs).

The Muslim populace had the same rights as the Hindu populace. To enhance the concept of unity and strength among the Muslims, so that they would come together as one, the Muslim religious leaders introduced reforms regarding their common faith in Islam.

Ulama targeted as many people as possible to come forward in the name of Islam. This meant all Indian Muslims, and any other people who wanted to accept Islam. They were just like any other religious leaders, they focused on gathering more population to unite together as one single unit.

This method included using social forms of educational and political methods to create awareness. Ulama's targeted all hierarchies, from businessman to landlords from political leaders to religious leaders and traders. They helped to spread the word of Muslim religion within Subcontinent.
