the narraator's home appealed to bodh raj because he found the place to be a good hunting ground . the trees surrounded there  had many nests , monkeys roamed about everywhere and also under the bushes there lived a pair of mongoose. another place was the narrator's store which had become a haunt of pegions cooing all day. in  this place bodh raj used his catapult to hurt chicks and get bird eggs.
