Because Kids are adorable. And they have those tiny hands and legs with so fatty cheeks.
They are most adorable when they are learning to speak because the cute way they speak words.
 And kids have awesome learning power and powerful memory. 
I have little nephew who watches Hindi cartoons and daily amazes us with his modified Hindi dialogues. I mean we as adults forget to be that creative. He is filled up with very simple yet smart questions about everything and it is a treat to answer those questions.
