Potol Babu was in need of money and the chance to earn some extra cash was like a windfall gain for him. However, this chance to act in in a movie meant more to Potol Babu than the payment. Although, the role was that of an insignificant pedestrian, for Potol Babu it was a dream come true. He worked hard to ensure that delivered the best performance of his life. The accolades he received from Chanchal Kumar, the hero of the movie and its director Baren Mullick, was all that Potol Babu required. Despite, the fact that Potol,Babu had played in theatres, jatra etc. his dream was to act in a movie. Thus, when he got this chance, he considered acting itself to be more important than the pay. When Potol Babu forgot to collect the money, other people in the story put it down to his forgetful nature. Nevertheless, the reader is aware that the praise Potol Babu received for his acting skills was the real payment.
because he thought that for such a small role he played had no price
