Solution :

  • Reasons for the rebellion :
  1. In 1905, the British Government reserved 2/3 rd's of the forests.
  2. They banned 'Shifting cultivation,
  3. They also had Banned hunting and collection of the produce of the forest.
  • British sent troops to suppress the rebellion of Bastar.
  • They also set fires to the camps of the adivasis.
  • They punished the people of the village who took part in the Bastar rebellion.
  • Finally, the British declared that the area of reservation of forests in india lowered to half of the area planned before 1910.
