Actually , This was a 5 Mark Question asked in my examination....
Solution :
- Reasons for the rebellion :
- In 1905, the British Government reserved 2/3 rd's of the forests.
- They banned 'Shifting cultivation,
- They also had Banned hunting and collection of the produce of the forest.
- British sent troops to suppress the rebellion of Bastar.
- They also set fires to the camps of the adivasis.
- They punished the people of the village who took part in the Bastar rebellion.
- Finally, the British declared that the area of reservation of forests in india lowered to half of the area planned before 1910.
