The commission consisted of Sir John Simon and seven othet members. All of them were members of the British Parliament. There was not a single Indian as a member. Indians recommended inclusion of Indian members in the commission so as to understand the problems and pains of Indian Society but Britishers rejected this recommendation. So the Indian decided to oppose it.
