Why did the poet keep the first road for another day and why he doubt?

poet leave next road for another day because he could not walk two road in one day so he choose second road for another day and go on first road

The poet keep the first road and choose the next road because the first road was looking like a yellow and golden Woody forest.
And the next road was looking grassy.So, the poet wanted to walk in the next road.
