The poet was in trouble that he would not be able to choose road that he was thinking which was good for him to continue his journey ....finally, he decides to do something new in his life so he chooses the less travelled road or the Grassy road and thinks that his decision will change his future....
It was a risky attempt by the poet but he really wanted to make a difference in his life which is stated in the phrase "AND THAT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE" so he chooses the road less travelled ....as a result the poet was indeed happy as well as satisfied with his decision.
