He decides to choose one of the two roads after weighing both his options and continues his journey, wondering whether if he will ever get the opportunity to take the other road. The decision he made will affect his life but whether it will do so in a positive or a negative manner the speaker does not say, but irrespective of that, his choice will make a difference on his journey and by extension, his life. The speaker, thus, may sigh because of these possible reasons
