on Mount Etna went to the tap in his garden to fill
his pitcher.
When he went there,he saw an earth brown ,slimy snake
who came to drink water from the clearness beside the
tap.
The poet was glad to welcome the snake as a guest.
He was admired and fascinated by him.
Although as a second comer he waited for his turn.

The poet visits the poet‘s water trough on a hot afternoon to quench his thirst.The poet also goes to the trough to fill water in a pitcher.But the poet decides to stand and wait since the snake has come there prior to the poet has an accomadating and sympathetic nature.
