A teenage boy who was chased by the police after a reported knife-point robbery has been arrested.
An 18-year-old told police he was walking along Glasshouse Street when he was stopped by a group of males at around 9.30pm on Friday, October 2.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery remains in police custody.
One suspect reportedly pulled out a knife and threatened the victim, demanding his bag, phone and coat.
The offender took the items and the suspects then ran off towards the Victoria Centre. No-one was injured during the incident.
Officers responded to the report and a short time later spotted one of the suspects in Upper Parliament Street who matched descriptions given.
