The poor peasants joined the civilian disobedience movement as they thought that their unpaid dues would be written off by the government. But it did not happen.

The Congress was reluctant to support the poor peasants for the fear of alienating the rich landlords.

\mathfrak {\huge {Hi !}}

The poor peasants participated in the \sf {Civil\:Disobedience\:Movement } as they interpreted swaraj as a condition when the unpaid rent to the landlord was remitted.

However, the Congress was always reluctant to support the poor peasants. This was because they'd always a fear of upsetting the \sf {\:rich\: peasants \:and\:landlords.}
