Why did the postmaster comment that mad men were strange people

Hi frnd here's the answer

The postmaster said so as he found Ali to be strange.Ali used to come to the postoffice every day early in the morning.He used to come and sit in a bench infront of the office. When yhe staff calls out the addresses written in the letters Ali used to listen to it carefully & at times used to jump up from his seat thinking that his name has been called out.

Now all these things made the people think that he was mad.
