The revolt of 1857 suffered from a weak leadership. It was not planned and organized. There was a clear lack of unity among the rebels and there was no common purpose among them during the revolt of 1857. The revolt did not spread to all the parts of India instead it was confined to the Northern and Central India.

Answer:

it was failed because the revolt was started at different times at different places so the revolt was not so successful as they hoped so . not only this they didn't have so much weapons and good strategies

that led to failure of the revolt

to make a revolt successful we should follow following:

there must be a good leader of the revolt who has an good experience of leadership and know how to control them

there must be proper amount of weapons and other necessary thing like their food for eating and proper first aid

in my opinion there must be a person who can take care of injured persons

also there must be a large no. of people in the revolution

hope so this will help you
