The ‘young seagull’ was alone in his ledge. His ‘two brothers’ and ‘sisters’ had already ‘flown away’. He also wished to fly with them but he was afraid to see the expanse of sea. He thought that his wings would not support him to fly.
After taking a few steps beyond the ledge the seagull attempted to flap ‘his wings’. But, he was afraid and came back to his little hole under the ledge and slept all night.
