Severn Cullis-Suzuki attended the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development(Earth Summit) at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1992 when she was only 12. Together with her friends from the Environmental Children's Organisation, they raised money to travel to Rio to attend the Earth Summit
