Shayr Khan continued to roar. This was so because-
- Because of being born with a crippled leg and had nickname 'Langri' i.e. the lame one.
- Shayr Khan was arrogant and thought himself as a rightful lord of the forest.
- The only creature who looked up to him was 'Tabaqui' cowardly, despised Jackal.
- Once Shayr Khan failed to attempt attack on human where he ended up bribing his front paw. There was a lil bit stuck there already adopted by parents wolf.
- In spite of bluster or shayr khan, the boy (mowgli) accepted by wolves pack and protected by Bagheera.
- Therefore, just because he was furious at losing his kill. The tiger roared that one day he'll get him (mowgli) soon.
