why did the simon commission visit india and how many members were there in it?

Simon Commission :-



It was a commission made by British officials to visit India and to amend some of the change in the India regarding what Mahatma Gandhi asked for .


There were 7 members in it but all of them were British members .


So , it was a set back for the Indians to have a rule made by Simon Commission .

And , for this they protested with the banners having " Go back Simon " .
