why did the slave trade started in the French revolution

Slave trade was established in mid 17th
century
Slave trade was abolished temporarily for 10years but after Naepolean's reign.. he again introduced it.....
Slave trade benefitted France economically..
at that time due to so many wars there was seen scarcity in monetary case....
So slave trade was started to support country's economic growth...
