Why did the Swallow want to go to Egypt?

The prince had given the two sapphires of his eyes for the poor. Now he was completely blind. The swallow had a kind heart. He could not leave the prince in that state and decided to live with him forever and gave up its idea of going to Egypt.

The little Swallow want to go to Egypt to join his friends. The happy prince had given the two sapphires of his eyes for the poor. Now he had became blind. So, Swallow decided to stay with him.
