The invention of the telephone provided an important device for facilitating human communication. No longer did people need to be co-located beside each other to be able to converse. Through the use of the telephone, people could have equally meaningful conversations at a distance, all the while preserving reciprocity.

Telephone become popular among us because it is simplest way for the communication. In earlier days people uses letters which take about two to three days to be received but now when the technology have been increased by using telephone it can be read in few seconds to the recipient that is why I telephone become popular among us which is because of the improvement in technology.
