World War 2 had begun with the attack of the Nazis of Germany on Poland in the month of September in 1939.

The United States was not a part of the war until the American fleet in Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese in December 1941. The United States, in turn, attacked Japan.

On 6th and 9th August in the year 1945, the United States had dropped two nuclear weapons on two Japanese cities- Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
