=Crops which is grown only for commrcial work is known as commercial crop.

The 19th century saw increase in the cultuvation of commercial or cash crop such as indigo , jute , oilseeds , sugarcane , tea , coffee & cotton . These crops widely used in the British manufacturing industries and hence the company ignored their cultivation .
