Tricki never refuses food. He keeps on eating everything Mrs Pumphrey used to give him. Thus , Overeating was the reason for Tricki's stomach pain. Mr James Herriot, who was a vet surgeon, said Mrs Pumphrey that Tricki should be admitted in the hospital for a fortnite and he gave him only water for a few days . Mrs Pumphrey was very worried about Tricki and she brought brandy , eggs and the wine for him but Mr Herriot didn't give those things to Tricki and instead he and his friends shared those items. This helped Tricki to be normal again.

Thus we can say that the doctor did a good job by not feeding brandy , eggs and the wine provided by Tricki's owner.
