Tsetan stopped and jumped out of the car because their following way was covered with snow. To cross the road, they had to come out of the car. Tsetan came out to check the hardness of the snow and for confirming whether their car could pass from that road or not.

Answer:

When the author is going to Mount Kailash,

they are 3 in the car,one is author himself second one is his friend and another one is the driver Tsetan . On the way to Mount Kailash the turn become sharper and the road bumpier. The author felt pressure building up in his ears. After struggling round, at another tight bend, Tsetan stop the car and jump out of it because there was a barrier. The track was covered by snow . The surface was very much sleepy and icy. It was up to 15 metres.
