The USA withdrew its support from Germany because Germany attacked Allies of the United States.

Reasons for the withdrawal:

  • In 1921, the US and Germany signed a separate peace treaty, as well as a commercial agreement in 1923.

  • Germany did not want the United States to get involved in the conflict. However, the Germans were well aware that certain of their acts, such as unrestricted submarine warfare, had the potential to drive the United States into war.

  • In 1932, Germany's economy, like that of other countries, had reached rock bottom.

  • The Government was spending, much of it on public works, which was also critical to Germany's recovery.

  • These were the reasons why the USA withdrew from them.
