Why did we choose time for the 4th dimension?

We choose Time as 4th dimension because it is the fundamental quantity in which we can fell change related to us. Like we can travel with it.

Let, I make you understand,

We choose height because we can go through it. In the same way we choose time because we can also go through it by time machine or say a black hole where all the dimension are possible or universe having 4th dimension.
here we can travel through time So it is said to be 4 dimension.
