Why did Weimar republic became unpopular in Germany after world war 1?

as the situation after world war1was vulnerable.there was huge loss of life and economy.Germany was under great pressure and in situation like that Weimar republic was a fragile government.it went on fulfilling the demands of the other countries and kept ignoring the needs of Germany. it also supported only rich people who was in their favour.that is why it became unpopular.
