This is a ridiculous question. Why were women fighting for rights, why wouldn't they. at that point of time, women didn't have any rights, they considered patches of stone and nothing else. Women were not allowed to get educated, not allowed to show skin, not allowed to receive job opportunities. if this weren't for those brave women back then, this living youth of girls might have also been rocks and not at a high point where they really are.
