Why did women in different parts of the world hegitate

well your question incomplete, but i am still trying to assume a similar question. women in different parts never hesitated, they were forced to by patrimonial power. People thought that women are only made for the house and kids, NO not at all true, in the 21st century girls are seeming to be more smarter then boys ever.
