Why did women start their own political clubs and newspapers in france?

Women had a significant role in French Revolution and their involvement made the revolutionaries more victorious,but when they got Republic, they were refused to allow votes and other important right which ignited their minds. So,they began to criticize their foolish thinking and started protesting by creating their own clubs(parties) and newspapers.
