Answer:

The Yaksha was the father of Yudhisthira, Dharmraj. Dharmraj disguised himself as Yaksha and came to test the wit of Yudhisthira. Yudhisthira succeeded in his test.

The Four Pandavas (Bheem, Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev) went deep in the forest in search of water. First Bheem found the pond of the Yaksha, when he began to drink the water, the Yaksha warned him to answer his questions first or if he will drink without answering, he would die. Bheem ignored him and drank the water. He died on the spot. Then When he did not return, Yudhisthira send Arjun to search for him. Arjun also ignored the warning and died. Then Nakul and then Sahdev also met with the same fate.

Then Yudhisthira came. The Yaksha repeated and this time Yudhisthira said that he would answer. The Yaksha asked some questions and Yudhisthira answered all correctly.

Then the Yaksha appeared and said that Yudhisthira can make one of his brother alive. Yudhisthira chose Nakul. When Yaksha asked why him, when he could have chose strong Bheem or powerful Arjun? Yudhisthira said that I have two mothers. I am the son of mother Kuñti. Mother Madri had two sons Nakul and Sahdev. I am alive as the son of mother kuñti so a son of mother Madri should also live.

Dharmraj was happy with his wit and give life to all his brothers.
