Hari tried to cheat Anil, who trusted him blindfolded. But when he realised his mistake ,he went back and very nervously he kept the money back. He lacked the courage to tell the truth to Anil. He thought that he might be punished. And also he had Anil as only friend in the town as he believed that friends were more messy than help. He didn't want to lose his only friend by telling him the truth.
